Zodwa Wabantu Gets Arrested!
Zodwa Wabantu In Trouble With The Law.
Just like every citizen who’ve had a run-in with the law, famous people also aren’t immune at all. Celebrities often get into trouble with the law just like everyone. That’s right! When celebrities break the law, they get arrested and charged. At the end of the day, when it comes to the law, there’s no exceptions- even if you’re a hot shot celebrity.
Last night was all fun for Zodwa Wabantu until the police showed up. Zodwa Wabantu was stopped last night on the road on her home from work for violating curfew orders. She was then taken to a police station where she was detained for not complying with the lockdown regulations.
In her defense, the South African dancer and entertainer pointed out that she and her crew had a permit to work and were unlawfully arrested by the police who were demanding five thousand rands for their release.
Zodwa Wabantu took to social media with the incident. She wrote:
“Look at the Man that Demanded 5000 on the Road when this Officer ask about our Permit,since he is charging us on Curfew time,We have the permit to Work all time in the media Space not Club. I have other Projects on TV,I was almost home 8 minutes to my house. The lady holding the Phone we were both swearing at each other calling me all the names you call me 😂😂😂😂”

While the police where busy filing documents for Zodwa’s arrest, the dancer continued to film everything and pointed out that the police men where unfair to her and had no right to arrest her. All of this happened in the early hours of the morning.
We have not heard from Zodwa since she shared the videos this morning.
