Ever wondered what your favourite celebrities were doing before becoming the stars we know them to be? Well we got the lowdown. You will be shocked to find out that most celebrities have done regular jobs that regular people do. Yes, they are human too if you ever wondered LOL!!!

  1. Thenjiwe Moseley

Believe it or not but Thenjiwe the comedian was an immigration lawyer before quitting and following her dreams as a comedian. She is a sista with beauty and brains. This goes to show that when you have passion for something, nothing will stop you from following your heart and pursuing your dreams and goals. She was also an au pair which in simple tense is a nanny from a foreign country. Today she is a stand-up comedian and she has her own comedy shows on tv.

  1. Lerato Kganyago

Lerato was working for a flight company as an air hostess. She was travelling around the world assisting and serving people on board making sure that their travel was as comfortable as possible. Lerato’s passion was far more than being an air hostess as she went on to enter beauty pageants such as miss Jam Alley and miss Soweto and she never looked back. Today she is a presenter, radio dj and a club dj as well.

Linda was a primary school teacher teaching IsiZulu from grade 1 to 5. The beautiful Linda’s first acting role was in Isibaya when she auditioned for a new character and got the role as Zama Ngwenya. Since then, she is now acting on The River where she plays the character of Nomonde. We hope to see the star on productions in the future.

Pearl was working for Shoprite as a cashier before taking a leap of faith and going to Red Pepper studios to audition for Craze e and she became a kid’s presenter. Pearl has grown in her career as she now hosts Zaziwa which is everybody’s favourite and she is also a radio dj on Metro FM. Pearl is also a brand ambassador for Shoprite, who knew!

Unathi was working at Makro as a cashier before she burst into the music scene in the early 2000s. Unathi is not only a talented songstress but she is also a radio dj, music judge on the biggest singing competion which Idols SA and she joined Moja Love as a presenter. She recently did a music tour around South Africa to remind us about her roots and where she started.
