SA Celebrity Couples We Wish Never Broke Up!

SA Celebrity Couples We Wish Never Broke Up!

Just like in the movies, these celebrities once had what seemed to be the perfect Mzansi romances. And if we had our wish upon a star, we’d love to have these couples back together again.

These are the celeb couples we’d love to see back together right before 2018 comes to an end!

1. Ntando Duma and Juniour De Rocka

Ntando broke her silence a year after it was speculated that she and Junior De Rocka had split while she was pregnant, with Ntando explaining she thought they would be together forever. Ntando told Anele Mdoda on Real Talk that they had split over a year ago and she was still coming to terms with it.

“I am glad that I can speak about it now because at first I was so crazy and in denial. Because he was my first, I really thought he would be my last. I saw a future with Junior. Unfortunately things didn’t work out.”

2. AKA and Dj Zinhle

AKA is still “in love” with DJ Zinhle, and DJ Zinhle is still good friends with AKA. But as for that getting back together steez that y’all have been on? Uhm, these two ain’t there… at least not yet.

Ever since AKA’s break-up with Bonang Matheba, the star and Zinhle have publicly shown their “improved” relationship status as co-parents to Kairo.

Although the pair won’t be dragged into talking about the existence (or lack) of any romantic feelings that might nudge them back together, Zinhle says she and AKA have decided to get along for Kairo’s sake.

“One thing South Africans are not short of is hope,” she said, before laughing at the suggestion of getting back together with her baby daddy.

“We had this conversation recently and just decided let’s start a new conversation about co-parenting, a positive conversation about co-parenting. Let people look at us and think that it is actually possible to do this co-parenting thing and get along. It is something we are now working towards. We just want to get along and be there for each other.”

3. Boity ad Cassper Nyovest

Cassper Nyovest and Boity were once Mzanzi’s hottest celebrity couple and even after their split, the two have remained good friends. The rapper tends to make it a point to let people know that he and the media personality are in a good space.

Speaking exclusively to True Love magazine, Boity slammed cheating rumours explaining that the split was amicable.

“We broke up in December and I cried about it, I got angry about it, I tried to convince myself that it’s okay then eventually you are just like life actually continues,” Boity said in a video posted by the magazine.

The Club 808 presenter also poured cold water over the cheating rumours, adding that, Cassper was absolutely respectful to her.

“Not once did I ever feel like he’s cheating on me or he’s giving someone else attention. There was never a time we fought about any girl, he was absolutely respectful towards me in terms of his female fans. Funny enough the female fans just showed me so much respect as well,” she added.

Boity added that the reason for their breakup was time management. “It’s just time that’s all it was,” she said.

4. Khanyi Mbau and Tebogo Lerole

Khanyi Mbau and Tebogo Lerole have kept fans guessing where their relationship status is concerned. In January the celebrity couple shocked fans when they confirmed that they decided to call it quits. Khanyi penned an emotional statement on social media, breaking the unfortunate news to fans.

“Today I made peace with a battle that I have lost. I have accepted defeat. My greatest fear and my greatest loss… letting go of the man I gave my heart too @edwardbillion. It has taken so much from me in convincing myself that I am okay? Today I chose to face my fears and accept my truth.”

Ever since then Khanyi and Tebogo have fueled the rumour mill that they have rekindled the flame, but neither of them have confirmed it.

5. Psyfo and Hulisani Ravele

Hulisani Ravele and Sipho ‘Psyfo’ Ngwenya dated for over 10 years and were often rumoured to be close to getting married. Psyfo and Hulisani had the country in mourning late last year when it became clear that they ended their relationship‚ with Hulisani admitting that even certain family members could not accept their split.

She said there was no drama around the split and that the couple had just grown apart.

“Things happen and I guess we just grew apart‚” she added.

While Psyfo has moved on and posted several pictures on social media with his new bae‚ he did tell fans who were angry about the split to focus on their own lives and not what is happening in his.

“Please don’t be rude my sister. Let me live. You focus on your life and I will do mine‚” he said.
