Ouch! Nandi Madida Slams Rapper L-Tido

Nandi Madida impressed some of her twitter followers yesterday when she slammed rapper L-Tido for saying that Johannesburg damages a lot of innocent girls migrating to the city.

L-Tido sparked near-immediate online backlash on Tuesday morning with a tweet which insinuated that Johannesburg is a not a great city for young women especially those coming from other cities.

He wrote: “Joburg has ruined so many good girls from out of town”.

Actress, singer and TV presenter Nandi Madida wasn’t at all pleased to see the tweet and immediately slammed the rappers’ saying….

“My friend Jozi is just a city with buildings, restaurants, businesses etc. as someone from out of jhb you make what you will from this city. It can be an amazing city, full of incredible opportunities, but it’s all about your intention when being here like any place.

Some fans were in agreement wit Nandi Madida, others felt that she is running away from the truth.

People don’t like taking responsibility imagine blaming a city for your mistakes pic.twitter.com/j59zSJdLjH— Brain🐐 (@TTTheBraniac) July 9, 2019

But then yall celebrities say the INDUSTRY is cruel. Yet it is not even tangible. So when someone says Jozi they do not mean literally, that’s a given! Even parents say a certain school is bad & don’t send their kids, a school is just a building.— iHeartAwonke (@iHeartAwonke) July 9, 2019

Nandi..There are countless of girls that went to Jhb with nothing but pure intentions & dreams of becoming successful Kodwa kwababedela bashawa iCulture Shock. It’s not “JUST a city with buildings”. Its the hub of both amazing & awful things. Opportunity & misfortune.— Asante Chiliza (@Asante_Ayanda) July 9, 2019
