Based in Cape Town, this full-time programme consists of an 18 month learnership and 18 month apprenticeship that focuses on mosaic and ceramic art. Learning includes tuition in drawing, ceramics, art history and business skills (NQF1 Business Practice)- enabling
graduates to jumpstart their creative careers and run their own successful enterprises.

The Academy provides a vibrant learning environment that explores the art form of mosaic and ceramic and develops the practical and technical expertise and creative spirit of all learners. The programme is designed to create a local industry with sustainable and
meaningful employment for many hundreds, and perhaps even thousands of skilled
artisans.

hand delivered to Union House, 25 Commercial Street, Cape Town, 8001.

Applications close 28 March 2019.

Entrance examinations to take place during mid-April to mid-May 2019. If you have completed an application form, you will be contacted by Harambee Employment Accelerator to arrange a date and time.

Short-listed applicants will be invited for a practical session and interview end of May 2019.

Offers will be extended to successful applicants by 5 June 2019. A bridging course will run from 1-12 July 2019 and the official starting date will be 15 July 2019.
