“Fuck The Springboks Kahle Kahle!” – says Ntsiki Mazwai
What’s s a day like without Ntsiki Mazwai’s tweets? It’s hard to imagine how that would be like. The Beadwork Artist, Musician, Author, Poet, Producer, Blogger and Social Activist has the internet in chaos as usual.
Just a few hours before Springboks won against England at the Rugby World Cup Final, Ntsiki Mazwai (39) took to twitter with a video to blast the team for being racist.
The former Moja Love presenter called out the Springboks for it’s racial segregation and pointed out that they trigger apartheid.
“I will not be a fool and pretend that the team that is representing South Africa represents me and represents the demographic in my country. I will not play along with you and lie to the world that rugby is not a stronghold of racism in this country.”
” I will not play along and pretend that black people are deliberately not excluded from the sport in this country. I will not play along and pretend as if I don’t know black boys who have been excluded from the selection processes. By the processes being far away from them and little tricks that Afrikaans men have played to keep black boys out of the sport “
” I will not play along with you and act like a fool and act like I dont know that kwa-Xhosa rugby is a huge rugby culture. As if that is, then there should be more Xhosa men on the team. I will not play along with you and pretend as if a squad with 31 men only 7 black people, representing a black country is something that I must stand and put my name to and respect. “
” If you want my voice as a South African, you will give me a team that reflects me and reflects where I am. I will not stand by and be a fool with you and go back to the apartheid era and applaud white men as they exclude black men from the sport.”
She further captioned the post with these words , ” I will Not Play Along With You… FUCK THE sprinboks kahle kahle”.
