Zahara Bags A Film Gig

Fans of music sensation Zahara are about to witness her other talent as an actress.

According to the reports, the artist who’s had her name embroiled in controversy for many times, is set to star in an upcoming local film titled “Mbali“.

Reluctant to share much, Zahara told Times Live that filming will start next month, and that she is super nervous since it’s her first production outside just singing behind the mic.

“Mine is one of the main roles. I am not an extra. I will be on the screen often. I was approached to be part of the film and jumped at the opportunity. I am nervous. There is a lot to learn but I feel confident”, she spilled the tea.

Many may be surprised by this bold move from her, but she sounds rather self-assured that acting is in her blood. Her mother is one of the people who have supported and encouraged her branching into acting.
