Cici Reacts To Arthur Mafokate’s Not Guilty Verdict.

The Midrand Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday acquitted Arthur Mafokate of assault charges laid against him by his former girlfriend, singer Cici.

In March, Busisiwe ‘Cici’ Twala claimed Mafokate dragged her on the street in June 2017 and that she had to undergo a pelvic replacement procedure as a result.

Mafokate’s lawyer, Daniel Nakeng, told newspapers that the court had reached the conclusion that there was no reason to convict his client as there was no evidence linking him to the incident.

“The court found that Ms Thwala was the aggressor. She was the one holding onto the door. It’s not like she was tied to the car and dragged. If she had let go of the door she would have not been injured,” Nakeng reportedly said.

This judgment has caused an uproar with Cici saying she has been failed by the justice system.

In a video posted on her IG, Cici mantains that she will keep figting for justice and that she wont let the court verdict to bring her spirit of fighting down.
