Simz Ngema Remembers Dumi Masilela, One Year After His Death With A Touching Post
On this day, last year, Dumi Masilela lost his life in an attempted hijacking in Tembisa, Johannesburg. Masilela was shot only a few months after marrying his sweetheart Simphiwe Ngema. News of Dumi Masilela sudden death at 28 sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry.
One year after his death, Mzansi has come together to remembering actor and musician Dumi Masilela. And leading the tributes was his wife Simphiwe Ngema, who took to her social media today to share a heartfelt message, she wrote: ” someone in me died with you on this day.”.
The past 12 months have proved to be particularly challenging for Simz Ngema.
A few days back, Ngema posted a picture of the ring on Instagram and wrote: “We have a love-hate relationship, sometimes I look at you and I smile. Sometimes I look at you and my heart bleeds. It’s almost time to let you go and the thought of living without you makes me anxious but holding on to you is more painful. I promise to keep you safe and to one day give you to the woman who will be Kgosi’s heart-keeper. I will love you, forever and always.”
