For many years, Pearl has been labelled as the clap-back queen but in her recent interview with GQ, she says that being outspoken is more important to her.
Her reputation of being a clap-back queen precedes her, everyone on Black Twitter knows that she fearlessly calls a spade a spade. She says she is not at all a diva, she just says what she means.
Pearl shared that although many might view her as a diva, the intention behind her Twitter posts and responses is not to harm but to be outspoken.
‘Of course, it all comes down to ‘how’ you say things and I’m learning a lot about that and about listening, but as long as the intention is never to harm, I think it is important to be outspoken.’ she said.
The talented Pearl Thusi recently landed a major debut lead role on an international feature film, The Scorpion King. She is to play Tala, a Warrior Princess trying to save the world along side Scorpion King, Zach McGowan.
