1. Thuso has an honours degree in drama and arts from Wits University. She’s been awarded scholarships in the past, including the New York University Summer Programme in 2012.

2. Thuso previously attended school in Pietermaritzburg in her home province of KwaZulu-Natal.

3. She previously portrayed the character of Boni Khumalo on Mzansi Magic’s Saints and Sinners.

4. During her university year, she took part in a number of productions at the Wits Theatre fulfilling various roles including; Stage Crew member, Stage Manager, Performer, Assistant Director and Choreographer.

5. In 2012, she attended the Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York City, in United States.
